A natural, environmentally responsible and VOC-free water-based binder and thinner for priming and stabilizing highly absorbent mineral surfaces.
An alkaline product that is also anti-fungal.

Use The Natural Paint Company Exterior Silicate Fixative to seal and stabilise absorbent substrates including raw, new, uncoated concrete and stucco. Can also be used to thin the Natural Paint Company's Natural Exterior Silicate paint.

A solvent free and VOC-free, matt, breathable mineral paint. The Natural Paint Company Exterior Silicate Paint reacts and bonds with the surface creating a lightfast, durable and non-combustible coating. Based on potassium waterglass, it is fast drying, well covering, anti-fungal and anti-static.

Uses:
As a paint for uncoated or new exterior mineral absorbent substrates:
  • Lime-based plaster
  • Concrete
  • Cement plaster
  • Stucco
  • Sandstone
  • Repainting old stable lime or silicate-painted substrates
Note: Not suitable for use on acrylic paint. 

Coverage:
  • 6-7m² per litre for substrates with a medium absorbency level. Can vary considerably depending on surface structure and absorbency.
Ingredients:
Water, potassium waterglass, chalk, mica, quartz, titanium dioxide, acrylic dispersion, polysaccharide, cellulose, sodium phosphonate, organic ammonium compound, fatty acid polyether derivate, mineral powder derived from chloride iron oxides.

  • Up to 1 Litre of product/s = $8.00
  • From 1 Litre up to and including 4 Litres = $13.00
  • Over 4 Litres up to and including 10 Litres = $18.00
  • Overnight courier to North Island 1 Litre up to and including 10 Litres = $30.00 (Non-Rural only)
  • Rural Charge = $7.00 per item (regardless of size)
  • Courier to Waiheke Island = corresponding size ticket + $20.00 (Waiheke Island Courier Charge per item)
  • Courier within Christchurch City (local area, Belfast, Templeton, Lyttelton) = $8.00 per item up to 10 Litres

DELIVERY
Delivery is usually overnight within the South Island and 2-3 days for North Island.
Please add a further 2-3 days for rural delivery.

If your order is completed by 12pm, we will endeavour to ship your order that day, otherwise it will be shipped the following working day.
